Beginning the search for an 8×32 Binocular

I’m looking for a good 8×32 binocular to use while photographing with a big lens to spot wildlife and be able to look around without the camera.  I will start reviewing binoculars under US$400 and see what I come up with! My points of reference are the Leica 8×20 Ultravid BR, Nikon Monarch 5 10×42, and the Swarovski 8.5×42 EL FieldPro.  The Leica and Swarovski are out of the $400 price range, but they are what I have to compare with.  What I am looking for is something that gives better ergonomics than the tiny Leica 8×20 and good optics compared to the Swarovski.
